Harrison Ford retreads his waning career with a cliché-ridden action thriller that contains little of either. Jack Stanfield (Ford) is a banking security specialist and loyal family man who gets taken for an ostensibly hellish ride when his wife (Virginia Madsen) and two young children are held hostage by thieves, led by Paul Bettany, pressuring Jack to transfer a hundred million dollars into an offshore account. The linear plot collapses around a guffaw-inducing plot point regarding the family dog. The movie is so disposable that you won’t remember you’ve seen it. Rated PG-13. 105 mins. (D) (One Star)
