Dust To Glory

Dust_to_glory “Dust To Glory” is an intimate cinematic tour of the notorious annual off-road “Baja 1000” race as it’s captured in all of its rugged glory by “Step Into Liquid” director Dana Brown. The 1000-mile race, referred to as the most dangerous race in the world, includes motorcycles, 800 horsepower trophy trucks, dune buggies and unmodified pre-1983 VW bugs that race across the desert at speeds of up to 120 mph.  With the use of a helicopter camera crew and lots of mounted mini cams, Brown captures the free-for-all temperament of the event while enthusiastic drivers risk their lives and vehicles on wild stretches of incredibly dangerous open road with a 40-hour time limit to finish the grueling race. “Dust To Glory” is a satisfying thrill ride that allows the viewer to experience the raw excitement of a race that few people have the stones or mental wherewithal to participate in.
Rated PG. 95 mins. (B+) (Four Stars)
