Netflix Transmissions

It's true that after much protestation on my part I was convinced to try Netflix about a year ago and I have converted into a huge fan.

My latest Netfilx movie-of-the-week was the classic "This Is Spinal Tap." The hilarious movie stands up well against my memory of seeing the comic masterpiece when it was first released.

Next up in my que is William Friedkin's remake of Henri-Georges Clouzot's "Wages Of Fear." I loved "Sorcerer" when I first saw it in San Francisco at the Roxie cinema, where Mr. Friedkin showed up in person to introduce the movie and give a Q&A after the screening. I'm looking forward to savoring it again.
