Nanni Moretti at Cannes 2012
Italian filmmaker Nanni Moretti to head the jury for the 65th International Festival du Cannes.
Thierry Fremaux, the Cannes delegate general, said about Nanni Moretti, "High-spirited and marked by his modernity and intelligence, Nanni Moretti's films are the incarnation of all the best in cinema over the past 30 years."
"The festival wanted to celebrate its 65th season with a European jury president."
This year's festival takes place May 16-27.
