Julian Assange on The Simpsons
In the 500th episode, Homer and Marge Simpson will find out that neighbors of Springfield are holding secretive town meetings in an attempt to oust them from their community as punishment for all the troubles they have caused over the years. Once they learn the news, “the Simpsons go off the grid to this very rugged place where they meet [Julian Assange], who’s sort of their new Flanders. … He invites them over for a home movie and it’s an Afghan wedding being bombed.”

Jeremy Lin Documentary!
It's only a matter of time before some quick-thinking documentarian puts together a film about Jeremy Lin. With at least 20 points and seven assists in five straight games, the Knicks are on fire—courtesy of Lin. Public curiosity is stoked about Lin, who by all accounts is a model player on and off the court. I'd love to see Werner Herzog tackle making a film about Jeremy Lin. Either way, this is one sports documentary I'd love to see.

Tyler Perry's Jet Flies Whitney Houston's Body
Whitney Houston’s body was transported last night from L.A. to a New Jersey funeral home as memorial plans begin to take shape. A wake for the singer, who died Sunday in the bathtub of a Beverly Hilton hotel room due to still undisclosed causes, may be held Thursday, with a public funeral possibly planned for Friday at Newark, N.J.’s Prudential Center as well as a private service at the New Hope Baptist Church, where Houston sang as a young girl. Those plans have not been finalized, however. The jet that transported Houston’s remains was provided to the Houston family by Tyler Perry, according to TMZ.
