Ethan Hawke certainly has the acting chops to play the jazz trumpeter Chet Baker. What's more he resembles Chet in his youth, before the ravages of heroin destroyed his iconic good looks. Between "Born to Be Blue" and Don Cheadle's "Miles Ahead," 2016 is shaping up to be the year of the jazz musician biopic. I loved Don's film, and I'm really looking forward to this one from Robert Budreau ("The Beautiful Somewhere").
