Whitney Houston’s body was transported last night from L.A. to a New Jersey funeral home as memorial plans begin to take shape. A wake for the singer, who died Sunday in the bathtub of a Beverly Hilton hotel room due to still undisclosed causes, may be held Thursday, with a public funeral possibly planned for Friday at Newark, N.J.’s Prudential Center as well as a private service at the New Hope Baptist Church, where Houston sang as a young girl. Those plans have not been finalized, however. The jet that transported Houston’s remains was provided to the Houston family by Tyler Perry, according to TMZ.
