Sceptre Breaks New Ground in Television Space with its
First-Ever 27-inch LCD HDTV

New television features rapid 5 ms response
time, 100,000:1 contrast ratio and multiple HDMI and USB ports in one
ultra-slim, lightweight unit

City of
Industry, Calif. – (April 26, 2010)
Sceptre,
world class manufacturers of superior performance TV and PC monitors,
has just announced the newest family member to its line of high-quality,
technologically advanced and designed televisions – its first-ever 27-inch
LCD HDTV
, which can also double as a PC monitor.

Featuring industry-impressive 100,000:1 contrast ratio and
ultra-fast 5 ms response time, these widescreen, super slim units pack a
powerful punch, especially with the integration of not one, not two,
but three HDMI ports for expanded functionality, allowing users to
connect multiple audio/video sources like DVD players, personal
computers, AV receivers and video game consoles for the ultimate home
entertainment experience.

“Not only do the on-screen images look
stunningly crystal clear and flawless, the unit itself also adds beauty
and personality to any home décor,” said Cathy Chou, vice president of
operations, Sceptre. “Available in a sleek black finish, these units
enhance rather than detract from a home’s aesthetic appeal, unlike
bulkier units on the market.”

In addition to the three HDMI
ports, the integrated USB port allows users to conveniently view digital
photos and listen to digital music. These ports are located in two
areas, on the side of the monitor and back, to allow easy accessibility
and quick connection/disconnection.
