On-the-spectrum filmic trilogy is a boring, self-indulgent fiasco.
“The Fantastic Mr. Fox” remains Wes Anderson’s best film, by far.
Perhaps, if Anderson had stuck to telling only one of this inflated film’s three tales of quirk for quirkiness’ sake, there might have been a movie.
“The Concrete Masterpiece” would have been the story to expand.
Mad incarcerated painter (Benicio del Toro) with his prison guard dominatrix/model (Léa Seydoux), had potential.
Utter bullshit.
