The first thing you'll notice about the Casio XJ-S52D projector is how small and sleek it is. As the thinnest projector currently on the market, and weighing less that four pounds, the made-to-travel projector comes in a black foam (think wet suit material) travel case that makes throwing the unit into your carry-on laptop bag a no-brainer. For board meetings or trade show presentations, the unit takes less than three minutes to set up from start to finish, and projects such a bright image that even in a brightly lit office or on a trade show floor, the image is perfectly bright and crisp. I can't stress enough the unit's ease of use that takes all worry out of set-up.

The unit's high zoom element makes it very adaptable to various size screens. As well, the unit does not need to be positioned at a perfect 90 degrees thanks to keystone senors that automatically correct the top vertical distortion up to 30 degrees.

While not designed specifically for home theater use, the XJ-S52 does a beautiful job of projecting film content from a DVD source. The DLP design delivers a broad spectrum of colors and again, the level of brightness is impressive. In a dark environment, the projector is near enough to theater quality to satisfy most audiences.

While priced at over $1000, the XJ-S52 pays off handsomely on the investment. This is a professional unit from top to bottom that performs beyond expectations. If you need to close deals with projector presentations, the XJ-S52 is an ideal candidate for the job.
