Once upon a time, in a land of our very own, over 30 years ago, a few fearless vigilante environmentalists that included Paul Watson, Bob Hunter and Peter Brown set sail to defend and preserve mother nature's creatures. Their efforts gave birth to the modern environmental movement and their influence continually witnessed by millions of people every Friday night on Animal Planet's Whale Wars. They fight against all odds to protect the unprotected and lay the law down where it fails to reach.

Before Whale Wars there were three decades of ambitiously adventurous Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) campaigns that built the foundation for and reputation of a fleet to be reckoned with. Coming to theaters this fall is Confessions of an Eco-Terrorist directed by longest serving SSCS first mate, Peter Jay Brown, which documents the organization from it's early days up until Whale Wars with 30 years of "behind the scenes and below the decks" never-before-seen footage.
In these years the organization was successful at stopping some of the most horrific atrocities against marine life like drift-netting, illegal whaling, and illegal fishing in national sanctuaries.
SSCS has successfully saved thousands upon thousands of our earth's most beautiful, precious, loving and harmless creations and continue to do so each and every day.
