NEW YORK, NY - JULY 31, 2013 - Kino Classics is proud to announce the DVD release of Cream: Farewell Concert, a documentary about the legendary rock group's farewell concert at the Royal Albert Hall in 1968 originally produced for the BBC series Omnibus. Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce changed the history of rock 'n' roll forever when they formed Cream, and their farewell concert on November 26, 1968 is captured for posterity in this documentary that features candid interviews with all three members of the band, and immortalizes that unforgettable evening in rock history forever.

The DVD is set to street on August 6, 2013, with a SRP of $19.95, in a restored extended edition remastered in 5.1 surround.

The documentary features such hits as "Sunshine of Your Love", "White Room", "Politician", "Crossroads", "Steppin' Out", "Sitting on Top of the World", "Spoonful", "Toad" and "I'm So Glad". With Clapton's monstrous blues riffs, Jack Bruce's soulful vocals and Baker's polyrhythmic jazz-influenced drumming, the band demonstrates their astonishing mix of styles that produced their timeless classics.

Cream's live shows were legendary marathons of improvisation, with the group expanding and contracting their famous tunes depending on their mood. On the night of their farewell concert they were celebratory, a combustible trio cementing their legacy.
