Tracing Nas's life from his childhood experiences, to his role in the burgeoning New York hip-hop scene, NAS: TIME IS ILLMATIC explores the challenges he faced before signing his first deal with a major label.
NAS: TIME IS ILLMATIC is set to street on DVD February 3, 2015, with a SRP of $24.95. The DVD includes never before seen bonus features such as RememberingIllmatic, deleted scenes, a featurette, and the trailer.
The film opened the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival and was an official selection at numerous film festivals including IDFA 2014, St. Louis International Film Festival, Calgary International Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival, and BFI London Film Festival.
