FEAR NOT is a chilling found footage horror movie in the skin crawling tradition of Paranormal Activity.

The killings took place inside a gothic mansion that his father is restoring with help from the government (watch for a cameo by NBA legend Gary Payton as a senator), so Jason has full access to its horrors. When Jason and his pals show up with cameras to stay for the night, they will becomes the stars of their own grisly snuff film.

Knocked unconscious, Jackson awakens to a nightmare, with only the memories of his girlfriend (Brea Grant, Dexter) to keep him company. As the windows crack under an avalanche of mud, his time and oxygen are running out. Jackson must battle starvation and hysteria in order to discover the light at the end of this dark tunnel. DVD SRP: $26.95
Director: Michael Urie
In the daring and hilarious He's Way More Famous Than You, actress and writer Halley Feiffer (Bored to Death) turns her up and down life in the movies into a madcap black comedy.
Halley plays an exaggerated version of herself, a manic alcoholic living off the fumes of fame generated by her performance in The Squid and the Whale (2005). Desperate for attention, she decides to apply for a grant at an independent film festival. Thinking only of stardom, she spends her time begging celebrities to act in her unwritten drama, pestering Natasha Lyonne (American Pie), Mamie Gummer (Side Effects), and the Karate Kid himself Ralph Macchio. As she drunkenly chases fame, her personal relationships disintegrate, and when the camera starts rolling she begins to realize how alone she really is.

Street date: September 17, 2013
DVD SRP: $26.95
Director: Dustin Rikert
EASY RIDER: THE RIDE BACK is the long awaited follow up to one of the most
successful independent films of all time.
Almost 40 years ago Easy Rider captured America's imagination as a counterculture film that explored an era and its trials and tribulations. Now, part sequel, part prequel, EASY RIDER: THE RIDE BACK delves into the family lineage of Wyatt "Captain America" Williams (played in the original by Peter Fonda) and the family's trials and tribulations throughout the decades of the 40's, 50's, 60's, and 70's to present day. Juxtaposed against the family's love affair with motorcycles, the film delves into issues of love, War, honor, and redemption, while keeping true to the spirit of the original film: the iconic "Buddy Ride" and the idea of a continuing search for freedom in an America that is struggling to find its identity.

Kino Lorber launched Horizon Movies in early 2012 as a home for mainstream independent movies. Overseen by Kino Lorber Home Entertainment Vice President Eric D. Wilkinson, the label's most recent successes include the comedy Fred & Vinnie starring comedian Fred Stoller and the thriller A Thousand Cuts starring Academy Award® Nominee Michael O'Keefe, that was nominated for a Saturn Award for "Best DVD Release". "We've seen some amazing growth in home entertainment by offering more choices for film lovers with the launch of the Horizon Movies label", said Wilkinson. "While our main label, Kino Lorber continues to deliver the best in critically acclaimed, award winning arthouse fare, Horizon Movies has provided us with the opportunity to expand the type of films we release and offer something for everyone. I'm proud to add these four great new films that are not only packed with amazing star power, but also deliver some great entertainment."
