NEW YORK, NY - March 26, 2015 - Kino Lorber announces the release of two inspiring documentaries on DVD: One Million Dubliners, a "captivating" (The Irish Independent) exploration of life and death that reveals the stories behind Ireland's national necropolis, Glasnevin Cemetery, and A Celebration of Peace Through Music, a concert conducted by Sir Gilbert Levine honoring the canonizations of Saint John Paul II and Saint John XXIII, in the spirit of Pope Francis.

One Million Dubliners streets on DVD April 21stwith a SRP of $29.95. Glasnevin Cemetery holds a special place in Ireland's history; built in 1832, it serves as the country's largest multi-denominational cemetery. It is a place that contains the unspoken stories of the more than 1.5 million souls who were laid to rest there. This award-winning documentary — which was named "The Best Irish Film of 2014" by The Irish Times, and won the Best Irish Feature Documentary Award at the 26th Galway Film Fleadh — presents a "beautifully filmed" (The Irish Times) guided tour through the headstones and monuments of Glasnevin Cemetery, celebrating life and dealing with questions about death by exploring the individual stories of ritual, love, loss, redemption, emotion and history that come together in this solemn place.

A Celebration of Peace Through Music streets April 28th with a SRP of $24.95 and includes

bonus scenes from Venice, Buenos Aires and Vienna, a conversation with Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz, Archbishop of Krakow, and alternate Spanish language audio.

This concert special presents Sir Gilbert Levine as he visits Venice, Krakow, Rome, Buenos Aires, Vienna and Washington DC to honor through music the canonizations of Saint John Paul II and Saint John XXIII, in the spirit of Pope Francis. These musical selections reflect the spirit of these three great spiritual leaders and their commitment to peace among people of all faiths.

Conducted by Sir Gilbert Levine, the concert features the Orchestra of Saint Luke's, Washington Choral Arts Society, Krakow Philharmonic Choir and Theodore Nisbett, Boy Soloist (Choir of Saint Paul's Cathedral: London). The music selections include Aaron Copland, "Fanfare for the Common Man" (1942); Verdi, "Sanctus" [Messa Da Requiem] (1874); Henryk Górecki, "Totus Tuus Opus 60" (1987); Bogurodzica, "Ancient Polish Marian Hymn"; and Brahms, "Symphony No. 1 Opus 68" (1876).
