FilmBuff to release sports film from award winning directors Ricki Stern and Annie Sundberg across all digital platforms September 2012

(New York, NY – June 22, 2012) FilmBuff has acquired digital distribution rights for the definitive documentary about the impossible-to-hit pitch, Knuckleball! From acclaimed filmmakers Ricki Stern and Annie Sundberg (The Devil Came on Horseback; Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work) this heartfelt, funny and deeply engaging film is an exploration of baseball's most inexplicable, unpredictable, unteachable pitch, known as, the knuckleball. Told from the perspective of the two best-known practitioners, Tim Wakefield (Boston Red Sox) and R.A. Dickey (New York Mets), who is having a phenomenal 2012 season, Knuckleball! explores the journey and sacrifices each player makes to become a master at this unusual pitching phenomenon.
