I was directed to your site after reading about how you and Armond White were the only two (now three) critics who didn't like Toy Story 3. I expected, well, less. Your reviews are well-written and well-thought out, and it seems to me that you – unlike Mr. White – do not have an agenda, you simply didn't dig Toy Story 3. Personally, I thought the movie was great (and I didn't let the 3-D or lack theroff influence my opinion), but reasonable minds can disagree.
Full Metal Jacket is one of my favorite movies ever (pick any Kubrick film, really), and your review showed a true understanding of the themes conveyed in that film. Again, it's clear you have a good head when it comes to film.
Basically, keep up the good work and stay true to yourself.
