“Clio Barnard’s first film, The Arbor, won awards all over the world. Her second feature film The Selfish Giant was selected in numerous festivals and shortlisted for the BAFTA Awards and the Prix Lux. Dark River, her third film, premiered as part of the Platform section at the 2017 Toronto Film Festival won an Honourable Mention. She’s currently working on the TV adaptation of Sarah Perry’s novel “The Essex Serpent.”
