CASABLANCA BEATS
"Casablanca Beats" follows a group of youngsters living in the Casablanca slum district of Sidi Moumen, a neighborhood that became a target of Al-Qaeda suicide attacks in 2003, as they participate in a workshop encouraging them to express themselves through hip-hop music and dance."
This film is the only Arab entry in Competition for the Palme d'Or. Youth movement baby.
Moroccan-French Cannes regular Nabil Ayouch returns for another shot at the Palme d'Or.
