ColeSmithey.comSteven Spielberg pulls out all the stops in this adaptation of the popular European comic-book series. The film's eye-popping state-of-the-art 3D motion capture techniques far improve upon such movies as “The Polar Express.”

Actor Jamie Bell lends his voice to the smart red-haired boy reporter Tintin who, with the help of his quick little dog Snowy, conducts private investigations into whatever mysteries come his way. In his European hometown Tintin buys a model ship named the Unicorn at an outdoor market, only to be followed by a creepy Ivanovich Sakharine (Daniel Craig) who insists on getting his hands on the model ship at all costs.

“The Adventures of Tintin” is full of laughs. It also contains some of the best animation ever put on the big screen. The 3D effects add some spice to this fun movie about a search for hidden treasure. The brilliant animation on display puts the effects in a film like "Avatar" to shame.
