New York, NY – March 19, 2012 - Kino Lorber is proud to announce the Blu-ray and DVD release of Wes Craven's The Hills Have Eyes Part 2 (1985), the notorious and bloody sequel to his 1977 horror classic.

Coming to Blu-ray and DVD with trailers and a stills gallery, The Hills Have Eyes Part 2 streets on March 20th, with a SRP of $19.95 for the Blu-ray, and $14.95 for the DVD.

Hills Have Eyes Still 2The film begins when two of the survivors from the original film (Bobby, played by Robert Houston, and Rachel, who changed her name from Ruby, played by Janus Blythe), now the owners of a dirt-bike team, hold their first race in the same desert where they had escaped death just eight years earlier.

Bobby is too disturbed to take part in the race, but Rachel is determined to confront the demons of the past. She joins her team (including Penny Johnson from 24) as they travel in to the hills. Once the race has begun, they are ambushed by the mutated remnants of the cannibalistic Jupiter family. When Pluto (Michael Berryman) and The Reaper (John Bloom) get going, no motorbike can outrun their bloodlust!

The Hills Have Eyes Part 2 is essential for fans of both '80s horror and filmmaker Wes Craven.
